Eco Club - on hold until further notice

The ECO club at St. Paul’s is a very important part of our school community culture. St. Paul’s has been an Ontario Eco School for many years. Through environmental learning opportunities and actions the students are encouraged to become environmentally responsible citizens. We focus on six categories: Teamwork and Leadership, Energy Conservation, Waste Minimization, School Ground Greening, Curriculum and Environmental Stewardship. We have lots of fun and every little thing we do helps the earth!

Robotics Club - on hold until further notice

A few years ago, Ms. Elaine Devlin began The Robotics Club at St Paul’s school. We have continued in her footsteps and now our Robotics Club runs every January to May. An interested group of 4 to 8 students from grades 7 and 8 work collaboratively using our Lego Mindstorms Robotics System kits to create and program robots capable of performing in a sumo wrestling match and maneuvering through different maze set ups. The final test happens in May when our team or teams enter their robots loaded with their robotic programs created, into the Kiwanis Club of Peterborough Robotics competition.

At St. Paul, we offer the following Clubs and Teams:

Cross Country: Grades 3 to 8 September - October

Soccer: Grades 7 and 8 September - October
